Normal Cancellation Conditions:
We offer free cancellation up to 7 days before the stay's date. After this deadline, we keep the deposit or deduct the equivalent from your bank card provided as a guarantee. However, this deadline is extended to 30 days for the rental of the Gîte La Petite Cimentelle for stays of more than 3 days.
In case of interruption of the stay before the scheduled departure date, you will pay the full cost of the stay. Similarly, in case of no-show, you will pay the total stay (Room and Table d'Hôtes).
However, in the context of a seminar or privatization of La Cimentelle, we keep the full deposit, regardless of the deadline. Also, these deposits are kept if the cancellation concerns a booking of 5 rooms or more for the same date.
Exceptional Cancellation Conditions:
In case of cancellation solely due to La Cimentelle, we refund the traveler the deposit paid. Additionally, they will receive compensation equivalent to 50% of the deposit paid if this cancellation occurs within 10 days prior to the stay.
If it's a cancellation due to events independent of La Cimentelle, making it impossible to operate, these cancellation conditions no longer apply. For example, and in a non-exhaustive manner: climatic phenomena, energy supply disruptions, total or partial destruction of buildings, epidemics, revolutions...). In such cases, we manage these cancellations on a case-by-case basis and according to the collateral consequences: keeping the deposit regardless of the deadline or refund. However, we may offer to allocate the deposit to a later stay.
In the context of the current epidemic, we will refund the deposit if the French government decides to restrict movement. For groups, we suggest reporting the deposit to a later stay, except for the refund provided for in the booking.
Table d'Hôtes:
During your stay at La Cimentelle, we can offer you dinner at the Table d'Hôtes only by reservation, potentially every day of the week except Wednesday, our weekly rest day. However, depending on our organization, we may not provide this service on certain other days, so it's best to always check with us. Travelers at La Petite Cimentelle have their own facilities to prepare their meals independently.
The dinner is served at 7:30 pm; if you think you won't be able to arrive by this time, we appreciate it if you can check with us about the possibility of a late dinner, out of respect for the other guests.
The price of this Table d'Hôtes service, excluding drinks, includes a starter, a main course, regional cheeses, dessert, pastries, coffee, and filtered water.
Burgundy wine and sparkling filtered water are available on site.
For our younger guests, we can offer an earlier service.
Private pool access at La Cimentelle
Travelers staying in the Gîte de La Petite Cimentelle have their own private space: garden, parking, outdoor balneo-SPA (no access to the Jacuzzi for children under 15). However, access to the pool or the Orangerie of La Cimentelle is not systematic. We appreciate it if you can check this possibility based on the presence of other travelers.
Travelers staying in the main house have access to the private pool from April to October. However, please check with us about the accessibility level, usually in the morning until 1 pm or in the afternoon from 4 pm. Therefore, outside of these time slots, we appreciate it if you can respect our rest and privacy within the grounds of La Cimentelle.
In any case, please note that the pool is not open to the public. Swimming is not supervised. However, access to the pool and the use of the leisure facilities are the sole responsibility of the travelers. It's an unusual place where children should never be left alone.
The last swimmer closes the gate with the key provided and notifies us so we can close the pool shutter.
Do not operate the shutter yourself. We provide these facilities free of charge. Consequently, we count on you to use them with caution and moderation. We appreciate it if you can report any damage to us.
Remember to leave the pool towels at the pool and close the parasol when leaving.
We provide many tables in the park for all consumption. We appreciate it in advance if you can avoid introducing glass bottles into the pool area.
